This was inspired by reading The Dinosaur Hunters. This might be Othniel Marsh and his assistants. The baseplate comes from a 1992 Mega-Bloks set and is not quite the right size between studs, making it hard for larger plates to stick to it. The rest is all Lego. The most interesting piece usage is the motorcycle piece to form the skull of the T-Rex. You can also find a pterodactyl fossil. The shade tent is made from a Lego sticker sheet. The only fabric I have are cloaks which are too small and a sail for a viking ship which is much too big. I figure it must be very early morning because they are all wearing jackets despite doing physical labor in the desert.
